A Proxycurl alternative that reads LinkedIn live.

Proxycurl shut down on 4 July 2025. Relay is a different kind of tool: your agent reads LinkedIn through your own account, on your computer.

What happened to Proxycurl

  • On 24 January 2025, LinkedIn sued Proxycurl over data scraping and fake accounts. [1]
  • Proxycurl shut down on 4 July 2025. Its CEO named the lawsuit as the reason. [2]
  • On 28 July 2025, LinkedIn said it had resolved the lawsuit. [3]

How Relay is different

  • Relay is not a data broker. It has no database of profiles.
  • It reads only what your own LinkedIn account can see, when your agent asks.
  • It runs in a browser on your computer, signed in as you. Relay's cloud never sees LinkedIn content.
  • It reads and sends messages for your agent. Each send returns a receipt with the verified recipient and text.
  • $0.01 per completed request. No subscription. $5 free credit covers 500 requests.

See every operation in the docs, for example profile.get and people.search.

Risks

Relay is not affiliated with LinkedIn. Automation may breach LinkedIn's User Agreement (section 8.2). Use your own account, at a normal pace.

Start

Relay is a Node.js 22+ CLI and API. It works with any agent that has a shell today: Claude Code, Codex, Pi and others.
